Mussel
(Mytilidae)
These shellfish grow thick to building a breakwater and the breaking the water block of the bay part in byssus. There are not many these in the reef shore. The husk is black. With a naturalization class from the Mediterranean Sea, The moule is this shellfish. In late years it is small and lives at the high position (medium tide zone) in the Gulf of Osaka. The husk top bends and is sharp without growing in colonies, and the slightly different type that a husk thickens is seen. The length of the husk is around 7cm.
